On November 4-6, the 2020 Jiangsu Advanced Materials Academic Innovation Forum for Postgraduates, hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Class 3 Graduate Steering Committee and undertaken by Jiangsu University, was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu.
122 master students and doctoral students from 20 universities across the country, including Nanjing University, Southeast University, Northeastern University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hohai University, etc., gave presentations and discussions. Finally, the 2018 PhD student Junjie Wang from the School of Materials/Gleiter Institute of Technology, Nanjing University of Science and Technology won the First Prize (6 in total), and the advisors were Professor Tao Feng and Si Lan.
The title of the report is High performance nanocrystalline CoCrFeNiMn high entropy alloy prepared by inert gas condensation,CoCrFeNiMn nc-HEA with an average grain size of 25 nm was prepared by inert gas condensation (IGC) with a laser evaporation source in this work. This nc-HEA has the ultra-high hardness, excellent tensile properties, thermal stability and tunable ferromagnetic properties. The corresponding research results have been published in Scripta Materialia and Journal of Materials Science and Technology.
The purpose of this forum is to further enhance the innovation ability of postgraduates, strengthen the exchanges of postgraduates in the field of materials inside and outside the province, improve the quality of postgraduate training, and aim at the cutting-edge high-tech and production practice needs of high-end metal structural materials and functional materials.
