The Chinese Center of Excellence for Atom Probe Tomography has been founded at Nanjing University of Science and Technology in July 2014. It equipped with LEAP4000X Si, Zeiss Auriga FIB, Zeiss Orion Helium Microscope and TITAN G2 60-300 Cs-corrected TEMetc. Atom probe tomography is a 3D atom-by-atom imaging technique, with a unique combination of high spatial and chemical resolutions. We focus primarily on 3D atomistic element distributions in materials, which is important for design and development of advanced materials. Our research programs include:
